Travel to Senegal, Africa 06/99
To research the life teachings of a great proponent of nonviolence, Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, who greatly contributed to leading Senegal away from colonial domination. The purpose of this cultural exchange was to share the wisdom of his teachings and African storytelling with those in the United States. An educational exchange was established between a school in California and Senegal. Pictures and video coming soon.
