Mission of Mercy to Iraq During the US/UN Sanctions

image of some of the people who were in Iraq to break the sanctions, including Archbishop Kassab of Basrah,Iraq

Due to the genocidal effects of the U.S. imposed UN sanctions policy, Iraqi civilians were in dire need of medicines and supplies. The International Peace Project / FOR funded the purchase of medicines and medical supplies for those suffering from the effects of sanctions. These were taken directly to Iraq via Archbishop Kassab, ourselves and other people traveling to Iraq. In some cases we delivered them personally to hospitals and clinics. During our journey we documented our visits to hospitals and our interviews with Iraqi citizens.
