This is the official Web site for the Passport To Paradise exhibition that was organized and researched by University of California Los Angeles professors, Allen F. Roberts and Mary Nooter Robertsin and publicly exhibited in 2003. The tour of this exhibition began in the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History in Los Angeles, Ca. The exhibition was called A Saint in the City: Sufi Arts of Urban Senegal, which showcased the writings of Shaykh Ahmadou Bamba as well as the culture and art of the people who were inspired by him.
