It is part of our purpose as the International Peace Project to provide literature and articles that contribute to a better understanding of ways of attaining peace, from conscientious objection, and activism to the inner aspects of attaining peace through beauty and the cultivation of human virtues attested to by all the great spiritual traditions.

We will provide these articles and literature for you online as well as a (.PDF) file, so that you may look over it at your convenience and use it as a resource as long as proper credit is made in your bibliography.

Farah Michelle Kimball, who has been involved in the study of Islam and the spirituality of Islam for over thirty years has contributed many of the pieces. She has written numerous articles for publication in newspapers, magazines and books. She has also given numerous talks concerning Islam, Sufism, interfaith dialogue and the Iraq Sanctions. She is currently working on an article about the non-violence of Shaykh Ahmadou Bamba of Senegal, Africa.

We will also include literature from Dennis Rivers, Gene Hoffman and others who through through their writing have made tremendous contributions to the promotion of peace through non-violence, wisdom and compassionate listening.
