These popular sacred music events brought hundreds of participants together to experience the transformative quality of inspired chants from West Africa and other parts of the world. Sacred music can transcend language to unite, harmonize and attune the receptive soul to a higher order.
The music performances celebrated the beauty and diversity of outward religious forms while inspiring many about the universality of our inner sacred traditions.
The International Peace Project organized and participated in interfaith dialogue gatherings and celebrations with representatives from different religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism, and hosted representatives of different religious traditions from other parts of the world, such as India, Senegal, Africa and Basrah, Iraq.
