Video and Television Production
Dan Kimball of the International Peace Project produced a series of television shows on the Iraq crisis. Rare footage of exclusive video from Iraq was aired from the Iraq Sanctions Challenge illegal aid mission there. These were aired in Santa Barbara on the local cable access channel and also documented by the ABC and NBC affiliate television stations.
Later programming on the spiritual politics of Senegalese presidential candidate, Abdoulaye Dieye, was also filmed.
As a result of these media presentations, thousands of people were reached and became more aware of the tragic humanitarian crisis occurring in Iraq. This information was generally not available through mainstream media reporting.
The production of the CD of sacred music dedicated to world peace generated footage to be used in a future documentary.
